Blog interview - That time I learned to disrupt architecture

A site-specific performance duet between Henthorn and Nile H. Russell interrogates the architecture of the Momentary and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, connecting them via the pathways between. During this durational multi-day performance, the duet traverses a new liminal zone, or a place out of time, between these monumental structures. The influence of body-in-space performances by artists Rebecca Horn and Oscar Schlemmer are apparent as the work poses questions such as, what do we build to house art? and, can art be contained? What more will this exploratory journey ask, and reveal, about this new between?
